Sembreak 2011

The last time we went to Subic, Angel was still in a stroller, 6 months old I think. πŸ™‚ After almost 10 years, we were finally able to go back. Since it was technically her “first” time being there, and since we had nothing to do while Mom was attending her conference, we (myself, Angel and Dad) went around trying to look for things to do. We even went to the site of Crown Peak (where we used to stay), just to show Angel the place (which was abandoned already). We also took a drive out to Ocean Adventure, and got ticketed for not wearing seat belts, on the way there. When we got there, we saw several busloads of students out on a field trip. So we decided to just take a look at the beach then go to Zoobic instead. When we got to Zoobic, Dad didn’t go with us and said he’d wait in the car. He thought it wouldn’t take a long time for us to go around, so when the guide told us the tour would be around 1 1/2 hours long, we had to tell him to just come back for us after an hour. The first part of the tour was the mini-zoo, where you can feed some of the animals. There were Bear Cats who fought over the bananas and birds who swarmed at the sight of bird food. πŸ™‚ Then we took a ride to a cave, which scared the life out of me. After that we went to the Tigers, then the Crocodiles. After Zoobic, we had a late lunch and went to the different outlet stores (but ended up not buying anything). Then it was back to the hotel, where Angel went swimming. The trip was definitely a breather, which I definitely needed to help clear my head. πŸ™‚
